This dog, a Siberian Husky named Tonka, is not happy about being asked to go inside the house one snowy afternoon. He downright protested it, just like a human teenager would.
It’s that feeling we all feel when we’re asked to do something we don’t want to.
This Husky didn’t appreciate that mom kept on bugging him to get inside. Didn’t she understand that he’s in his element whenever there’s snow? Tonka must have had that question running in his head before howling his protest.
It’s common knowledge that Huskies have thick coats, a natural protection from the cold. They’re the most comfortable in cold places, so it’s no wonder Tonka wanted to hang outside in the chilly weather.
Furry protests
This dog’s howls were just too precious. It sounded like he was trying to tell his mom off, and we can’t help but feel for him, even though we know he needs to go inside eventually. After all, it is cold out and too much of it won’t be good for him.
Tonka’s adorable response to mom’s calls was fortunately met with good-natured giggles. This dog’s human mom decided to tease Tonka a little bit, just to see his howling protests once more.
She used her authoritative voice, told Tonka to get inside immediately, and sweetened the proposition by mentioning treats. Sure enough, the pet howled his protests once more, but the dog couldn’t stop thinking of those treats.
Even the toughest of dog breeds can’t withstand the cold forever. Tonka knew he would have to go inside and with treats waiting for him, we think this dog didn’t fight mom’s orders for long.
Tonka may have protested at first, but he eventually gave in and went inside. After all, Huskies appreciate good treats and warm people just as much as they like chilling out in the snow!
