It may already be well-known that dogs can significantly affect their fur family’s behavior. Most likely, these furry pets bring joy, comfort, and a sense of security to their respective owners. Little do the majority of the pup parents know that the parent’s behavior and personalities can vastly affect their dogs’ temperaments, too.
If you sense that your puppy is having negative changes in conduct, look no further to solve this and examine within yourself. In most scenarios, fur parents do not consider their actions to affect how their dogs develop or behave.
A study was conducted to prove the correlation of proper and effective dog training with the parent’s persona. The human disposition will be the primary factor in forming the relationship between the pet and the owner.
The research included 131 sets of fur parents and their respective dogs. The owners’ personalities were assessed through questionnaires they filled in before the study started. They also answered surveys about their pet’s deportment along with facets of their dispositions.
After three months of continuous training, the assessments were undertaken again. Another set of evaluations was performed six months later. The results show a significant correlation between the positive altitudes and traits of the dog owners compared to their dogs’ positive reactions and characteristics.
The study considered multiple variables, including the canine’s gender, size, and age. Interestingly, the results show that bigger pooches advanced in more classifications. Also, the study proves a connection between aggressiveness and tinier doggies.
The study, therefore, proves that the fur parents’ personalities have an impactful influence on their dogs’ characters. It even showed more progress in dogs with outgoing fur families. These dogs tackled developmental concerns more effortlessly, regardless of the hound’s size.
Knowing this study’s results, it is best for our families to persistently self-assess to get the best behavior they want in their pups.
