Long ago, bringing a dog inside a movie theatre seems like a crazy idea. Since dogs are prone to make noises, run around, and be mischievous, it’s clear that they are unideal in theatres where moviegoers need as much silence as possible to focus on what they’re watching.
But the ‘crazy’ idea of bringing dogs into theatres became possible when K9 Cinemas opened their first pop-up theatre in Plano, Texas. And of course, who else would be their top customers but dog lovers themselves.
Dog lovers were so thrilled when the news came out that a new theatre was made specifically for dogs, and they were so excited to try it out. And even with the theatre’s pop-up structure, the dog lovers who brought their dogs to the theatre were not disappointed. In fact, they were thankful that finally, someone has thought of this idea and made it into reality!
K9 Cinema’s founder was even surprised that shortly after the theatre’s opening, the cinema was already featured in major publications, both locally and internationally. And this newfound fame further pushed the K9 Cinema to a new level of popularity.
Inside the theatre, dogs and their owners can enjoy different dog-themed movies every day. And for customers accompanied by their drivers, they are allowed to order wine or whiskey to complete the movie-watching experience. Of course, suppose moviegoers are not accompanied by any drivers. In that case, they are not allowed to order these alcoholic drinks as no one wants them to drive in a drunken state!
As the K9 Cinema become more and more popular, its founder became confident to build a permanent building for the dog-themed cinema. This new place will provide an even better experience for the K9 Cinema’s customers. It will have larger spaces for dogs and more comfortable couches for their owners.
The new cinema may have now reached greater heights, but because of the unfortunate Coronavirus pandemic, its operations have to be temporarily stopped in accordance with the health protocols. But since the restrictions have been loosened up, the theatre plans to hold outdoor events that would serve their loyal customers who’ve been wanting to unwind after the stressful lockdowns.
Indeed, the theatre’s rebound from its halted operations would be excellent, not only for dog owners but for dogs as well.
