Death can happen when we don’t expect it the most. We are often unprepared for its arrival. Although we know that it will happen, we do not know when.
Accepting the passing of a loved one is difficult. It will require a great deal of mourning and missing our loved one. We were taught to accept the inevitable, and death is seen as one of the unavoidable events in our lives.
We have witnessed numerous reactions after a death. We mourn, we become angry, we feel guilty, we are screaming inside, we get despondent, and occasionally we experience apathy. However, we must let go of these feelings and accept what has transpired. People who are in mourning must decide whether they will continue to live in sorrow or whether they will put their suffering behind them and begin living again.
As pet owners, we may wonder how our animals would react to our deaths. According to experts, pets grieve much like humans. Some animals decide to end their own lives out of grief. Our pets are so devoted to us that they will notice when we have become absent in their lives. They can also smell and sense death, and they are fully aware of what it is.
After his owner’s death in 2014, Zozo the dog from Ordu, Turkey visited his owner’s cemetery every day, as seen in a video.
Most people believe that pets who sit by their owners’ graves do not grieve, but continue to hold on and hope for their humans’ return. Sometimes, it is difficult for our pets to comprehend that their owners have departed.
Our pets are aware that we are not just their source of food, but also are the people who would love them forever. That is why many dogs continue to become loyal to their humans long after their owners’ death.
