The odds of survival for animals born in the wild are quite low, especially if the newborn’s mother is murdered or has abandoned them. There is no one around to provide them with nourishment and keep them safe. The babies would either perish from hunger or dehydration or become the prey of larger animals.
This could have happened to a fox cub named Dinozzo. His mother was killed in an automobile accident when he was just three years old. Someone thankfully found him and gave him over to a veterinarian.
The little animal was soon adopted by the nice German couple Werner and Angelika Schmaing. In his new home, he quickly formed a close relationship with a caring Border Collie named Ziva.
Ziva, like many female canines, developed a strong maternal instinct. As soon as she encountered Dinozzo, she rushed to his side and began to cuddle him. It appeared as though she desired to comfort him and make the little animal feel secure.
From then on, they would remain together always. Ziva would always be beside Dinozzo. And if she was not present, the fox cub would begin searching for her. He would make whimpering sounds and become agitated until she returned.
As the fox grew larger, their relationship grew even deeper.
In addition to Ziva and Dinozzo, Werner and Angelika have other pets. They have an adopted Bengal cat and two piglets.
Dinozzo, who is now fully grown, has established ties with all of the other animals in the home. However, her best buddy would remain to be Ziva. They are always eating and playing together. When they are exhausted, they sleep and rest side by side.
The fox has never been kept in a cage by its owners. He is allowed to travel wherever on and off the premises.
They live next to a wooded region and their home does not even have a fence. However, Dinozzo rarely strays from their residence. This implies that he prefers his current location.
