Last week, when David Carlson, a refuse operator, was in the dumpster for routine maintenance, he saw a puppy who was under a pile of garbage. He called his supervisor, and then, together, they dug the puppy out of the bin and saved its life. After David and his supervisor rescued the pup, they called the Franklin County Dog Shelter, a nonprofit organization, to take the dog in.
A loving family eventually adopted the dog and gave it a new home. For dog owners, a pet isn’t just an animal but also a beloved family member. Dog owners love their dogs and want to ensure the best care for them.
However, some people think that they can own a dog without taking proper care of it. Some people set their pets free when they can no longer care for them, but others work to find new homes for their animals. All dog owners should be aware of how important it is to take care of their pets.
They should never own one if they are unable to handle all of the responsibilities that come with having a pet. A lot of people think that owning a dog is just like having another child, but this isn’t true because dogs need more attention than children do. Dogs need exercise and mental stimulation every single day so they don’t become bored and destructive around the house or yard.
If you really want your dog to be a friendly and happy member of the family, then give it some exercise, or it might develop behavioral problems and may act aggressively. While it’s true that dogs need exercise, their mental needs are just as important. If you’re not willing to give a dog the daily exercise and stimulation it needs, don’t get one. You also need to make sure that they are safe from all kinds of harm.
