Dogs are not the ones that come to mind when it comes to animals that can mimic a human voice. That talent is often attributed to parrots and certain exotic birds because they are good at copying human speech. However, one Pomeranian from South Korea stunned several people when it made a noise that sounded like human speech.
Kim Bingdaeng is an adorable Pomeranian that has a unique talent. He can bark or howl in a way that makes it sound like he is screaming the word “Hey.” His owners often mistake him for another person when they hear him from another side of the house.
An expert dog trainer watched footage of Bingdaeng making the strange noise. Even the expert was amazed and admitted that he had never encountered a dog like that before. He would need to research and experiment to learn more about Bingdaeng’s ability.
The expert speculates that the dog was mixing barks and howls to produce such a distinct sound. To confirm his theory, he conducted an experiment with several Pomeranians. However, these other dogs were not able to replicate Bingdaeng’s sound despite being put in different situations.
Later that day, the expert found out about the hilarious origins of Bingdaeng’s strange bark. The dog’s owner let out a shriek while playing a game on her tablet. It was a sound very similar to what the dog would make. That could only mean that Bingdaeng was mimicking the sound that his owner makes when playing.
One veterinarian had a lot to say about Bingdaeng’s unique talent. The vet confirmed that dogs are very observant, and it is possible for them to mimic sounds they often hear. Since Bangdaeng was always in his owner’s room, he would often hear her panicking. That is why the Pomeranian barks in a way that sounds like shrieks.
