It’s no secret that life can sometimes be unfair. People can be dealt bad hands, and they instantly give up. But if we just look at the brighter side of things, there are still plenty of reasons to live. Sometimes we can even take our misfortunes and use them to our advantage.
This is a lesson that we can all learn from Stevie, the yellow Labrador. This goofy pooch was born with cerebellar hypoplasia. It is a neurological disorder that makes it difficult for him to control his movements. It doesn’t cause Stevie any pain, and aside from his jerky movements, he’s just like any other pooch.
He likes playing fetch, cuddling with his humans, and playing with his toys. Just like any other pooch, Stevie also likes shredding pieces of paper and gnawing on his humans’ shoes. But on top of all these, the goofy yellow Labrador loves playing in the mud!
The pup’s mom, Jane Cornelius, shared that when she adopted Stevie and took him, the very thing the pupper did was play in the mud. Jane’s backyard become a marshy area whenever it rains, and this is where Stevie likes to play. And because of his disorder, it looks like he’s dancing in the mud!
Jane decided to record her fur baby whenever he played in the mud and uploaded the clips on the internet. And as expected, netizens around the globe loved the videos! Seeing a pup dancing as he’s playing in the mud is pure internet gold, so we can’t really blame people for going nuts over Stevie’s adorable clips.
Although we know that his neurological disorder causes his “dancing,” we’re pretty sure that Stevie is ecstatic every time he’s playing in the mud. His condition inadvertently helps him express how he’s feeling. This pup’s attitude towards life is truly inspirational, and we could all learn a thing or two from this pooch.
