How a massive Great Dane stayed with her mother, a professional basketball player, from her rookie days.
Ella confessed that she desires a brief break from basketball when she exits the arena, so going for walks and cuddling with Wrigley helps her become engrossed in anything other than her favorite sport. She stated that Wrigley has been with her through all the ups and downs of her life.
Ella disclosed that Wrigley has been present in every significant event in her life. Wrigley was present for her first season, when she debuted in the WNBA, and when she met her current partner, Amanda Clifton, and accepted her proposal. Ella noted that Wrigley was present when she lost and won WNBA championships and required two back surgeries.
Amanda said that she believes that her relationship with Wrigley differs from Ella’s and that she believes Wrigley loves her more because she is there for him during difficult times, when Ella would otherwise be absent. However, Ella is happy that Wrigley has Amanda anytime he feels lonely and needs someone to lean on.
Ella added that Wrigley had always been there for her, and she could not help but be appreciative of his presence in her life. She expressed her gratitude for the love, joy, and loyalty she receives from Wrigley, as she knows she could never receive them anywhere.
